I photographed the artist Peter Vigor seated quietly at home, surrounded by the accumulated work of a lifetime. Natural light filtered in from an unseen window, resting on his figure and casting soft shadows that seemed to temper the years while giving weight to time. His gaze was held toward something beyond the frame, settled and unhurried, as if suspended in thought. The moment felt unrushed, reflective, open. Around him, his artworks formed a quiet presence, traces of a world shaped slowly and with intent.
