I hesitated, then, instinctively, I lifted my camera. The moment was too profound not to capture.

In the quiet hush of early morning, before the rush of tourists disturbed the peace, I found myself wandering alone amidst the ancient stones of Avebury, Wiltshire. The Druid Stone, the largest and most imposing, rose before me like a neolithic sentinel, watchful over the land. I circled its vast form, seeking the perfect way to frame its jagged edges and weathered face, when, as if the stone itself had whispered a secret, something unexpected caught my eye. Behind the towering monolith sat a woman, her form blending so seamlessly with the stone’s rugged surface that she seemed to be a part of it. In deep meditation she sat still, her face gently pressed to the rock as though listening to the ancient echoes within. Her presence, serene and timeless, seemed as enduring as the stones that had stood for millennia.
