EMBRACE - fine art photography prints

Humanity comes together once again, when Social Distancing ends.
 
Fishing for scenes of humanity has long been an endeavour of mine, often elusive, but occasionally when the stars align a profound image may emerge. The UK Government had just announced the lifting of Social Distancing measures, the restrictions imposed during Covid-19 now officially ended. With that, plans for reunions with friends and family were set in motion, and what better place for such gatherings than at the beach. Living in the coastal town of Whitstable, Kent, I witness this gravitational pull regularly; as soon as the sun emerges people love to flock to the seaside. So, I positioned myself on the seawall, waiting for humanity to arrive, their newfound freedom in hand. The photograph speaks for itself, but it’s the simple act of an embrace - once forbidden - that now embodies that joyous moment.
