BARRIER

As daylight fades and the city lights begin to rise, London shifts register. Its language becomes louder, more fractured, colour pushed to extremes against the dark.

The volume is turned up, not only in illumination and vibrancy, but in perception.

I wander through this transition, listening for rhythm rather than direction. The night unfolds in fragments: reflections, barriers, thresholds. I gather these elements as they appear, letting them settle into place later, once the visual noise has fallen away.
