Edition & Print Information
Photographic works presented by OPENPAGE STUDIO are produced as carefully crafted editions
intended for collectors, galleries, and photographic art enthusiasts. The information below
explains how our photographic prints are produced, numbered, and supplied.
1 Limited Edition Prints
Many photographs presented on this website are offered as limited edition prints. Each edition is produced in a strictly limited quantity and will not be reproduced again once the edition limit has been reached.
Edition sizes vary depending on the work and are clearly stated on each artwork page. Once an edition is fully sold, no further prints of that image will be produced in the same format and size.
Limited editions may occasionally include a small number of Artist Proofs retained by the photographer.
Some photographic works presented by OPENPAGE STUDIO are published on behalf of collaborating photographers. In these cases, prints are editioned by OPENPAGE STUDIO and accompanied by a signed certificate confirming authenticity.
2 Edition Integrity
OPENPAGE STUDIO maintains strict control over the production of photographic editions. Once the declared edition size has been reached, no further prints of that image will be produced in the same format and size.
3 Signature and Edition Number
Each limited edition print is individually signed and numbered by the photographer.
The edition number identifies the print within the edition and is normally written in the form:
5 / 25
This indicates print number five from a total edition of twenty-five.
The signature and edition number typically appear in the white border of the print or on the reverse of the artwork depending on the presentation format.
4 Certificate of Authenticity
Every limited edition print is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity confirming the details of the artwork.
The certificate normally includes:
• Title of the photograph
• Edition number and edition size
• Photographer's signature
• Year of production
The certificate is supplied separately from the print to protect the artwork during handling and framing.
5 Photographic Print Process
Photographic works are produced using professional archival printing processes designed to achieve exceptional tonal quality and image detail.
Depending on the work, prints may be produced using:
• Traditional C-Type photographic printing
• Fine art pigment printing on archival papers
Each method is selected according to the aesthetic qualities best suited to the image.
6 Archival Materials
Prints are produced on professional photographic or fine art papers chosen for their archival stability and visual quality.
When properly displayed and cared for, these materials are designed to provide long-term image stability suitable for gallery display and private collections.
7 Print Sizes and Presentation
The available print sizes and image dimensions are specified on each artwork page.
Photographic prints are normally supplied unframed, allowing collectors to select a presentation style appropriate to their space or collection.
Where framing or presentation options are offered, these will be clearly described.
8 Bespoke Presentation Services
OPENPAGE STUDIO may offer bespoke presentation options, including framing or alternative display formats.
These services allow collectors to commission presentation styles tailored to their interior or collection requirements.
For further information please refer to the Bespoke Service page or contact us directly.
9 Care of Photographic Prints
Photographic prints should be handled with care and displayed in suitable conditions.
To preserve the quality of the artwork we recommend:
• Avoiding direct sunlight
• Maintaining stable temperature and humidity levels
• Using archival mounting and framing materials
Professional framing is recommended for long-term preservation.
