SHACK ON CEMENT BLOCKS
A week after I took this photograph I met Sophie the owner of the shack on cement blocks. She told me, 27 years ago she and her husband, now 4 years deceased, had a dream to build their own house. On the morning after they completed the foundations, they arrived to find all their building materials stolen. With very little money left, they built this shack from parts of demolished houses.
