I was amazed at how the settlement children make do with their spare time. Quite old-fashioned in a world where technology cannot be afforded. I was upset when I saw the malnourished dog sniffing for food in the background. In the struggle to feed themselves and the family, the strain is greater feeding their pets, their only early warning of lurking criminals.
