Paired Limited Editions
Developed as two distinct but connected volumes, in black & white and in colour & light, the photographs are experienced not as isolated images, but through sequence, pacing and spatial relationships across the printed page.
The Paired Limited Editions have been conceived as a complete presentation set, bringing together both volumes within a carefully structured archival format. Every element, from material selection and embossing to sequencing, typography and presentation, has been approached
as part of a single considered photographic work.
Produced in a strictly limited edition of twenty sets, each edition is individually signed and numbered by Chris Page.
Each paired edition contains:
• Two individually bound lay-flat photographic volumes
• Printed fine linen hard covers
• Signed and numbered authentication
• Embossed logo detailing
• Archival edition certificate
• Acrylic slip cases with display bases
• Protective presentation box
• Printed project insert
• White cotton handling gloves
The presentation materials have been designed not simply as packaging, but as an extension of the work itself,
establishing a slower and more deliberate encounter with the photographs.
Scale, pacing, silence and adjacency all contribute to the reading experience, allowing visual relationships
between images to emerge gradually through the sequence of pages.
Printed on archival materials and assembled in carefully controlled editions, the Paired Limited Editions have been developed as physical
photographic objects intended for long-term preservation, collection and repeated viewing.
The accompanying acrylic slip cases and display bases allow each volume to remain visibly present beyond the act of reading itself,
transforming the books from stored publications into freestanding objects within a space.
The accompanying notes remain reflective rather than instructional, allowing space for individual
interpretation and quiet observation.
